Be it resolved that we, the Executive Council of the United Faculty of Florida-Florida State University, oppose proposed legislation that would exempt president, provost, and dean searches from public record and meeting requirements. Such searches must be open, transparent, and accessible to all stakeholders, including faculty, students, and staff.
